Default Who's the best?

I was wanting to do somthing silly like have a necro female MJ tribute. Now I know that Im gonna get flammed and I don't care.
But my question is...who whould be the one to talk to about setting it up?
Ideally I would like to have a major town full of nothing but necros doing the Thriller.
I did look on youtube and there is 1 already up, but i was thinking that the GW community at large could do an awsome job with this. So who is the best, the brightest, the Mc Daddy Pown'em that can pull this silly tribute idea of mine off?
*gets ready for the flaming to begin*
Please be gentle, I scar easily....

Hopefully this won't turn into a Love Michael - Hate Michael argument.

I think it's a great idea. Female Necros and Male Paragons UNITE!!! (crap, my necro needs a sex change)

I guess the place to start would be HERE There is a post by Regina explaining what needs to get done so the event can be officially advertised.

There is a known group of players that record amazing GW videos: Here

Having a large guild/alliance might help = more people.

I would be happy to help you. Just let me know. I can definitely ask my guildies/allies.

I love their sync dancing at the end.

Seriously.
If you do one for the pedo, you need to do one for the rest of the stars that just died.
Waste of time.

People die everyday. More importantly, policemen, firemen, the people that actually help out each of our communities, die everyday. So why don't we give them a tribute first?

You guys seriously need to put things into perspective.

If they ANet does do a tribute (which they won't), then I would lose all faith in them.

They didn't make Thriller man. They didn't make Thriller.

On a more serious note: A tribute is a dumb and pointless thing to do, especially for someone who has so much controversy surrounding himself. People die every single day. Death is a part of life. By having a tribute for one person, and not everyone is basically showing that everyone else does not matter, and that Michael Jackson is what every human should try to be. The man made good music, but I'm sorry he is not a role model. The man did not make the world a safer place to live in. He didn't cure cancer, solve world hunger, end wars across the world, etc. All he did was make music and have a very questionable social life.

That isn't something Anet should dedicate a tribute to. If you want to pay homage to the man, listen to his music, dance with your female Necro in your guildhall. Don't organize a large gathering of people to pay homage for an extremely controversial man who didn't really do anything. It doesn't make much sense.

In principle there is nothing wrong with the idea except that he is still a controversial figure.
That will mean anything you announce will get flamed online by some and then interrupted by some players when you start it.
So it will never be the tribute you want it to be and will probably leave a sour taste

Guilty or innocent "most likely innocent" this is a life that will be discussed for years to come
When it comes to scandal you are always guilty in some eyes whether there is evidence or not.

MJ is dead his music will live on is that not enough.

So you have to cure AIDS or defend your country in order to garner any sort of respect? His controversy aside, a whole shitton of people from around the world, to the Fillipino inmates that did *two* Thriller dances in tribute to him, to the people that simply danced out in front of his theatre, were touched by his music. He was a record-breaker by means of sales, able to reach out to people of all races and cultures, and his ballad-style music was revolutionary at the time. I suggest you do some research on a man that apparently "really didn't do anything". He didn't cure cancer; so what? Why are people whose arts are in museums allowed to be heralded?

I don't think there's anything wrong with Siadina wanting to have a tribute for Michael Jackson. Whether the man was controversial, not a firefighter or soldier, AIDS-curer, or a role model doesn't matter--it is obvious that he and his music touched her in a way that means so much to her that she wishes to say thanks (by means of a tribute). Just because she chose to honor Michael instead of a policeman doesn't mean she has "warped priorities" and anyone who says that is warped themselves. People pay homage to others all the time. Should we not celebrate the life of our grandmother (for example) if she didn't cure HIV?

And she didn't say that she wished ArenaNET to do a tribute. She said she wanted to start something simple up herself (like dancing Necros in LA) and have people join in if they wished to. I see nothing wrong with that.
